More students at Wake Forest High School are wearing seat belts after the school’s Key Club launched a campaign this fall to encourage peers to buckle up.

Teens in the Driver Seat is a national program in which students urge each other to make smart choices.

Holly Springs VS. Middle Creek High School Volleyball

It seemed like Holly Springs and Middle Creek were going to keep playing volleyball right into Wednesday morning.

The two evenly-matched teams pushed each other to the limit – and over, as it applies to the 25-point mark that teams must reach and win by two to end each set – before Holly Springs pulled out a Tuesday 3-2 win (23-25, 23-25, 35-33, 32-30, 15-7).

Sanderson Vs. Apex High School Tennis

Sanderson breezed through its match against wild-card Apex with a 9-0 win for the first round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A girls tennis dual-team playoffs Tuesday.

The Spartans (17-0) are just getting started, said coach Joe Mesiano.
